There is nothing like playing a good game of online bingo without any disturbances, but if you have a family in the house with you, this sometimes proves a little difficult. The best suggestions I can think of are the following five;
1) If you have a partner, remind them that he/she has not seen a certain member of their family for ages and it would be lovely if he/she paid them a visit (with the kids of course), to catch up on lost time.
2) If it is just you and the children then convince them that they would enjoy a day round their nanny or granddads, and that their grandparents are really looking forward to playing games and having lots of fun. When you suggest this to the grandparents be sure to tell them how upset the children will be if they refuse, then their conscience will get the better of them.
3) Keep everyone amused and quiet by picking a film they all enjoy, add some snacks and popcorn with it, and this should keep them quiet for you to enjoy a good game of online bingo.
4) When you have older children, pay for them to go somewhere else for the day, that way they are happy and out of the house, and your happy because your home alone. If you succeed with the children, but find your partner is still in the house lingering, try the one thing they can not stand which is whinging and nagging. This usually coaxes them into going out leaving you in peace. I find this method works every time for me!
5) If all these ideas fail to work, then I think you are better off waiting until the children are asleep and your partner is all ready to watch his/her favourite programme, that way no-one feels like they are being ignored (which in my case it is usually my partner that feels like this more than what the children do, typical!).
